Music

One of the Polytots most looked forward to part of the day is music time. We learn songs using all different kinds of instruments, and have time devoted to free music creation, where Polytots are free to use any instrument and let their creativity thrive through instructed music playing. We love to watch children grow and learn basic music theory through practice and lessons. We’ll also put on small concerts, where we preform the songs we’ve learned.

Theater & Play

Theater teaches children important values, such as commitment and dedication, memorization, self-confidence, public speaking and creativity. Most importantly, theater teaches children how to grow into the adults that they want to become. It helps them learn to accept others as well. For these reasons, theater is essential for all levels of education.

Drama also improves academic performance as well as reading comprehension

Spanish

In the program of complete spanish immersion the kids love learning different animal noises, flags, and tasting different spanish foods. Polytots learn everything from gato (cat) to where Chile is on the map.

Yoga

The founders of Polytot also have a strong background in Yoga. We believe that yoga is a beautiful way of self-expression, introspection, meditation, and relaxation. A few times per week, we have a yoga session to re-center the class. Starting yoga at a young age not only allows the children to maintain their incredible flexibility, but allows children to focus their energy in a constructive way in order to attain calmness and relaxation. Yoga is taught by real yogis, and is always looked forward to by the class at the end of every day.
